You will earn the same diploma as our on-campus students

This degree provides students great flexibility in designing a program to support their career and transfer goals with customized course selection. It is recommended for returning adults, or veterans, who may have started in one direction and now have a new focus, and want to continue their studies without undue loss of credit. Students will work with their advisor and design a four-semester layout that combines a strong liberal arts and sciences foundation, with 30 credits of choice, to help them transfer in a direction not currently supported by many degree programs. Students will have obtained the necessary SUNY general education coursework and be allowed to customize their remaining coursework based on desired transfer school and/or SUNY Transfer path. This degree may allow students who transferred without obtaining their degree from SUNY Adirondack to reverse transfer their credits and obtain an associate's degree.

What's an associate degree?
An associate degree usually takes two years of study and prepares students for employment or transfer to a bachelor’s program at a four-year university.
